OGRE™ stands for Oil, Gas & Refining Equipment. The Cordova Safety Products OGRE™ brand gloves are designed for those down and dirty jobs that require gripping power and impact protection. This OGRE-CR+™ glove protects against a wide-range of hazards. The CR in OGRE-CR+ stands for Cut-Resistant, as this glove offers an A5 cut level. It features a 13-gauge, hi-vis, high-performance polyethylene (HPPE)/glass fiber shell, thermoplastic rubber (TPR) protectors for impact resistance, and a reinforced thumb crotch for increased durability. It also provides interior foam palm padding for better comfort and a red, sandy nitrile coating.
